About Graham Oliver

Graham Oliver is the premier (Grade A) driving instructor for the Seaford area.

I qualified as a Driving Instructor in 1978 and have taught driving very successfully in London, Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire until my move to Sussex.

Some of my most valued and rewarding experiences of being a driving instructor were being able to train victims of Thalidomide and paraplegics at Stoke Mandeville Hospital - all of whom passed their driving test.

I have always been passionate about my driving and over the years I have obtained the following driving qualifications:-

  • Institute of Advanced Motorists
  • HGV classes 1, 2 and 3 (C+E, C, C1+E)
  • EFAD (Emergency Fire Appliance Driver)
  • Police Driving Permit (advanced car)
  • Full Motorcycle Licence

I have extensive service in both Police and the Fire & Rescue Service and have a current CRB check.

I am also a very experienced Child Protection Trainer.

I feel that you will have to look hard to find a more knowledgable, experienced, committed and caring driving instructor in Seaford and Newhaven than myself.

My original driving instructor was a gem. He taught me so much more than to pass my test, he gave me skills that I have lasted throughout my life and driving career. I didn't know this at the time and I thought he was just being 'fussy'. How wrong was I? I have embraced his ethos and have always taught my pupils 'for life'.

I believe it is essential that you enjoy and not fear your lessons.

I believe that a mixture of sense of humour, professional tuition and modern teaching methods will ensure your success as a driver.

I am now happy to be a driving instructor in Seaford.

I have not met anyone yet who I thought I could not teach to drive.
